Girl Genius vince il Premio Hugo


Il nono volume di Girl Genius realizzato da Kaja Foglio (testi), Phil Foglio (testi e disegni) e Cheyenne Wright (colori) ha vinto il Premio Hugo 2010 nella categoria Best Graphic Story.

Girl Genius ha vinto il Premio Hugo per la seconda volta. Nel 2009 era stato premiato l'ottavo volume della serie.

Gli altri fumetti candidati al premio erano Batman: Whatever Happened to the Caped Crusader? di Neil Gaiman, Andy Kubert e Scott Williams (DC Comics), Captain Britain and MI13, Vol. 3: Vampire State di Paul Cornell, Leonard Kirk, Mike Collins, Adrian Alphona e Ardian Syaf (Marvel), Fables, Vol. 12: The Dark Ages di Bill Willingham, Mark Buckingham, Peter Gross, Andrew Pepoy, Michael Allred, David Hahn, Lee Loughridge, Laura Allred e Todd Klein (Vertigo) e Schlock Mercenary: The Longshoreman of the Apocalypse di Howard Tayler.
